The Transformation Unit is seeking a highly skilled Cancer Improvement Specialist to support delegated projects for the Cancer Flow and Performance Team.

This role will involve working with cancer teams across the Trust, providing leadership and guidance to specific service improvement and redesign projects and programmes of work.

The successful post holder will utilise appropriate methodology to focus change and improvement initiatives on meeting a range of improvement outcomes, improved clinical outcomes, enhanced patient experience, patient safety, and service efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support delivery of the Trust's cancer priorities
  • Plan, facilitate, and deliver specific projects using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Collaborate with the Newcastle Improvement Team to provide leadership, advice, practical support, and training for quality improvement and transformational change initiatives

Requirements:

  • Degree level education supplemented by relevant postgraduate study through to Masters Level or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Qualification

Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (pro rata)
