Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for checking patients into the department, performing safety checks, and assisting with surgical procedures. Additionally, they will participate in departmental audits and support the preparation of operating theatres.

As a key member of the team, the Clinical Support Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic and providing excellent patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking patients into the department
  • Performing swab, sharps, and instrument checks
  • Assisting with consent for surgery
  • Participating in safety checks
  • Participating in departmental audits

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a clinical setting
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
