About the Role
Safran UK is a leading supplier of seating solutions for the aerospace industry. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Cwmbran, Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machining centres to manufacture high-quality components
- Download programs from the file server and maintain tool management systems
- Prove out new NPI programs and use inspection equipment to monitor tolerance requirements
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance tasks and maintain safe operations
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and complete necessary paperwork

Requirements
- Inducted apprentice or equivalent modern apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
- Experience in setting and running 3-axis and 5-axis vertical machining centres and CNC lathes
- NVQ Level 2+3 mechanical engineering or equivalent
