Job Overview

At Allied Bakeries, we are seeking a skilled Relief Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Relief Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting products from customers, suppliers, and other organisations and locations, as required by the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, adhering to the Highway Code and Company standards.
  • Apply SAFED driving techniques to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency.
  • Comply with Company delivery and collection procedures, including picking from bulk order loads, order adjustments, and health and safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service, adhering to Company standards.
  • Report any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels to the FLM immediately.
  • Follow Company standards and procedures for working with and accounting for Company products and equipment.
  • Comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the Company, including unloading, refuelling, and washing vehicles, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
