Job Title: Accounts & Tax Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Tax Specialist to join our team at Page Personnel Sales.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a prestigious global financial services business, focusing on VAT and Indirect Tax. As a Financial Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting with all necessary VAT, GST, and EC Sales Lists returns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing accounting GL details, preparation of VAT return journals, quarterly reconciliation of VAT accounts, and prompt payment to the relevant tax authorities.
  • Assisting Accounts Receivable/Payable on the correct VAT treatment of our products and invoicing requirements, and providing VAT advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Working closely with the Global Tax Team, Financial Operations, Financial Reporting & Accounting.
  • Assisting in carrying out research on various tax topics.
  • Assisting with the preparation of corporate tax matters, including tax returns and tax provisions.
  • Financial Industry experience is preferable but not a must.
  • Indirect tax specialist either ACCA, ACA, or CTA qualified.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel.
