Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Project Management Apprentice to join our Bid and Project Management Function at Thales Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the creation and maintenance of integrated master schedules, contributing to monthly project status reports, and helping the project team ensure correct and effective project delivery in accordance with Thales governance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of the integrated master schedules for assigned projects.
  • Contribute to monthly project status reports and attend associated reviews.
  • Assist in the deployment & reporting of risk & opportunity management.
  • Help the project team ensuring correct and effective project delivery in accordance with Thales governance.
  • Develop a good working knowledge of Thales DIS (Digital Identity and Security) mandated tools including MS Project and JIRA.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A-C) including English and Maths (or equivalent), plus a Level 3 qualification to demonstrate the ability to learn at this level.
  • A strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a virtual delivery model.
