Job Description

The Advanced Musculoskeletal Therapist role at Hywel Dda University Health Board offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced physiotherapist to join our team. This Band 6 full-time permanent position is based in Cardigan Integrated Care Centre and involves delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the leadership of the physiotherapy team.

Responsibilities
  • To work closely with the national exercise referral scheme and develop links with third sector activity providers to offer our service users further help after their rehabilitation course.
  • To manage a diverse caseload using a clinical reasoning process, and participate in therapeutic handling and risk assessments.
  • To provide direct involvement with carers and families, and evidence of supporting service compliance with clinical governance requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience in relevant clinical specialty, including postgraduate education and evidence of staff supervision.
  • Completion of junior competency framework and practical experience to a level that would enable participation on the respiratory on-call rota.
  • Evidence of CPD and IT skills, and ability to travel between sites and in community in a timely manner.
Estimated Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 per annum
