* Assessment and Adaptation: Assess student progress and modify teaching strategies as needed.

* Direct Instruction: Provide direct instruction, support, and guidance to students, individually and in groups.

Requirements:

* Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status.
* DBS: DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to undertake one.
* References: A minimum of 2 satisfactory and recent references.

Ideal Candidate:

* Interest in SEN: Genuine interest in working with SEN children and willingness to assist with personal care.
* Experience: Previous experience working with students with complex autism and high sensory needs.
* Skills: Knowledge of effective teaching strategies for students with complex autism and high sensory needs, and the ability to handle situations and behavior calmly and sensitively.
* Passion: A passion for shaping young children's education and adapting to their individual circumstances.
* Commitment: Flexibility, commitment, and the ability to provide short, sharp tuition and brain breaks as needed.
* Special Interests: A genuine passion for SEND and/or SEMH.

Role Details:

* Schedule: Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
* Class Size: Working with a class of 6-8 students.
* Lesson Planning: Following individualized learning plans and planning tailored lessons.
* Policy Adherence: Implementing school policies on learning and behavior, as well as statutory guidelines relating to special education needs.
* Student Development: Motivating students to learn and socialize.
* Independence Promotion: Promoting independence by assisting with personal, physical, and medical needs.
