Community Engagement Champion

Job Summary:

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Champion to join our team in Burleys Wood. As an Activities Champion, you will play a vital role in providing stimulation and encouragement to residents through entertainment, activities, and community links.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate an activity profile for each individual service user through liaison with care staff.
  • Ensure the safe and proper use of all equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and legible records in respect of service users' activities.
  • Liaise with the senior nurse on duty with regard to outings.
  • Research all prospective outings in respect of access and toileting facilities.
  • Liaise with senior care assistants in respect of relative medical or nursing care information regarding service users.

Requirements:

  • No previous experience in this field is necessary, as we are happy to work with you to help you become an excellent member of our team.
  • No qualifications are required, as we are committed to supporting your development and progression within Shaw.
