Job Title: Contract Technical Author

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Technical Author to join our team at Conventus Solutions Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation for our large Infrastructure programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authoring ITIL v4.0 service management playbook artefacts/deliverables
  • Providing technical author service supporting Incident Response
  • Creating weekly reports summarising key tasked activities and outputs generated
  • Developing project documentation (PIDs, schedule, design documents etc)

Essential Skills:

  • Technical Author
  • Understanding of CIS services management (SM) processes to update/improve or produce relevant SM playbooks
  • Understanding of CIS incident response (IR) processes to update/improve or produce relevant IR playbooks
  • Understanding of CIS business continuity approaches to update/improve or produce relevant playbooks
  • Ability to advise improved ways of working pertaining to current processes and procedures employed by the Service Management Team

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience within a network/security operations centre

Requirements:

Candidates are required to hold current SC Clearance. Please familiarise yourself with the security vetting process before applying.
