New Build Solicitor Opportunity
Location: West Midlands
Hours: Full Time
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in New Build property matters, including sales & purchase, equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of New Build property matters from inception to conclusion.
- Maintain efficient systems to diarise and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Demonstrate excellent client care and communicate complex legal matters in a commercially astute and understandable format.
- Build lasting working relationships with clients and house builder referrers.
- Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders.
- Develop professional relationships with clients and other potential sources of work.
- Generate a fee income in line with agreed targets.
- Manage, supervise, and develop staff.
- Contribute to the team's business development activities and budgets.
- Previous experience working on New Build purchase and sale matters.
- Hold a relevant qualification.
- Commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
- Commercially astute with a focus on business targets.
- Experience in managing, supervising, training, and developing support staff.
- Thorough working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures.
- Organised and process-driven with IT literacy.
- Credible past and consistent billing/financial performance.
