Position Summary: Omega Resource Group is currently supporting a global leader in integrated security solutions and is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending calls for maintenance, collecting and recording site configuration information, maintaining car stock levels, commissioning small projects, carrying out audits of quality procedures, and providing training to customers and colleagues as required. The role involves working with a range of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend calls for maintenance (both on-site and via telephone) as directed by team coordinators.
  • Collect and record site configuration information accurately.
  • Maintain car stock (spares) levels for efficient service delivery.
  • Commission small projects when required, ensuring technical and quality standards are met.
  • Carry out audits of quality procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Provide training to customers and colleagues as required.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in installing and servicing access control, CCTV, intruder alarm systems, previous electrical/mechanical experience in servicing fire alarm systems, ideally GENT-based, a relevant IT qualification and/or Electrical/Electronic qualification, broad technical IT knowledge, including Windows Operating Systems installation, networking, and troubleshooting, and knowledge of basic electrical principles, such as measuring voltage and current drain.
