Manufacturing Team Member

Thrive Group is seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our team in Ditcheat, Somerset. This long-term position has the potential for a permanent contract. Due to the client's location, owning transport is required.
Main Responsibilities:
- Bagging and sealing cheese while inspecting for foreign contaminants
- Operating and monitoring production equipment safely
- Carrying out routine manual handling tasks with attention to detail
- Manual handling tasks including hand stacking product/packing into boxes and onto pallets
About You
- Prior experience in a similar food handling environment is desirable but not essential
- Good command of English
- Enthusiasm and conscientiousness, showing initiative when possible
- Able to demonstrate respect for others
- A positive attitude towards work
- Proactive approach to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Able to share and exchange information with colleagues
- Treating others with dignity and respect within the production team
Working Hours and Pay Rate
- Monday to Friday 0545-1415 and Monday to Friday 1345-2215 - Rotating weekly
- £12.95 per hour
