About the Role:

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK-wide recruiter for the Skills & Employability sectors, and we are currently seeking a skilled Health and Social Care Assessor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Health and Social Care Assessor to deliver Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Health and Social Care, with experience of delivering Apprenticeships and assessing learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality assessments and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5.
  2. Develop and deliver training programs to support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  3. Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  4. Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  5. Support, advise, and motivate learners to achieve their goals.
  6. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.
  7. Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork, and general administration.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA.
  2. Experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or Level 5.
  3. Occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly) at Management level.
  4. Confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
  5. Happy to conduct online remote assessments and face-to-face assessments when required.
  6. Good level of ICT skills.
  7. Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  8. Flexible with travel.

What We Offer:

KM Recruitment offers a competitive salary of £30,000 + bonus, with an additional £5,000 OTE. We also offer a full-time, permanent contract with opportunities for professional development and growth.
