Job Title: CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate milling machines, lathes, and grinders to produce high-precision components.
  • Program and set up CNC machines using Fanuc, Mazatrol, and Heidenhain formats.
  • Use CadCam software to generate tool paths and optimize machining methods.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications to create Die components to tight tolerances.
  • Perform complex machining repairs on Die moulds and manufacture EDM electrodes from drawings.
  • Set up and operate EDM and Wire Erosion machines, as well as overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
Requirements:
  • Time-served machinist with experience in manual machining and CNC programming.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and ability to read and interpret specifications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively on own initiative and contribute to a team environment.
  • Availability to work shifts, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience of spark and wire erosion, Nitriding, and Heat treatment processes.
  • Knowledge of Faro/CMM measuring equipment.
