Project Coordinator

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team as a Project Planner. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for planning and managing component availability to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of products.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets and drive cost reduction initiatives to optimize resource allocation.
- Customer and Stakeholder Management: Liaise with customers and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes to challenging projects.
- Demand and Inventory Planning: Analyze demand and inventory levels to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Tooling and Component Sourcing: Support the sourcing of tooling and bought-in components, including making buy-vs-make decisions.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular project updates to customers, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Engineering Education: Ideally, you will have an engineering background with project management experience.
- Project Management Experience: Experience of planning or scheduling in a fast-paced, demanding environment is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other programs, including word, PowerPoint, and Projects.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication at all levels, with the ability to remain focused and objective when faced with adversity.
