About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Complex Care Assistant to join our team at Sonderwell. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and reviews, ensuring they are tailored to the individual's needs.
Requirements
  • Experience in complex care, preferably in a similar role or setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of clients.
  • Basic life support and first aid training, with a willingness to undertake further training as required.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle, due to the location of some clients.
