About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Babcock International. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality machined parts for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce machined parts to precise specifications.
  • Translate detailed part drawings into measurements for production.
  • Perform set-up and calibration procedures for equipment and accessories.
  • Ensure all machining procedures are completed in accordance with project specifications.
  • Follow company safety protocols and perform duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Time-served apprenticeship experience in machining.
  • CNC programming and manual turning and milling experience.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude, good time-keeping and attendance, self-motivated, and ability to work safely.
  • Physically capable of performing duties.
  • Committed to quality and communication.
Qualifications
  • City and Guilds in Engineering or NC in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Security Clearance (BPSS or SC).
