About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Next, based in London at the Brent Cross Store.

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment, protecting company assets, and minimizing loss.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the provision of a safe and secure working environment, ensuring the well-being of our store teams and customers.
  • Work closely with store teams to build strong relationships and identify high-risk areas, implementing effective deterrents to prevent loss.
  • Engage with store management to ensure adherence to company Loss Prevention standards, conducting audits and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Action additional duties as requested by the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, including out-of-hours surveillance and support at other stores.

About You:

  • Previous security experience in a retail environment is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • You will be flexible and willing to work across different stores and opening times, with travel required on a day-to-day basis to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable distance from your home address.
  • You will be committed to keeping our store teams and customers safe, well-organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will be a hardworking, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships with store teams, police, and customers.
  • You will be fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings, and comfortable using IT systems and computers.
