Salary: £45,000 - £47,000

Shift Pattern: 4 on – 4 off (Days and Nights)

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a state-of-the-art food processing factory. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our food processing and packaging machinery.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment.
  • Fault find and troubleshoot various PLCs.
  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure smooth operation of all food process and packaging machinery.

Maintenance Engineer Qualifications and Experience:

  • A multi-skilled engineer with a recognised qualification in electrical engineering and a solid mechanical understanding.
  • Motivated and quick to react to breakdowns.
  • Experience working within a PPM schedule and a continuous improvement environment.

Requirements:

  • BTECH/ONC in Electrical discipline or Multi-skilled Engineering qualification.
  • C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance.
  • Time-served apprentice.
  • HNC level in electrical, mechanical, or production maintenance engineering.
