Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students.
  • Help students with academic tasks and provide guidance on study skills.
  • Support students with personal care needs if required.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with individuals with special educational needs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • First Aid certification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
