Senior Care Team Leader

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Residential Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual to lead a team of care staff and make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You will be responsible for training, supervising, and delegating duties to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of care staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Train and supervise care staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent care.
- Delegating duties to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Support with the administering and ordering of medication.
- Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
- Liaise with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Previous experience in a residential care setting.
- Proven team leadership skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions.
- A warm and compassionate approach to care.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
