Job Description

We are currently seeking a Principal Biostatistician to lead project teams, oversee statistical analyses, and contribute meaningfully to clinical development projects.

Responsibilities
  • Act as lead statistician on projects, conducting meetings, managing timelines, and assessing resource needs.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets while ensuring SOPs are followed and documentation is up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with programmers and data managers on database maintenance and analysis structure.
  • Design statistical analysis plans, including sample size calculations, randomisation schemes, and efficacy-focused tables.
  • Guide and mentor junior statisticians, reviewing and validating their work.
  • Interact with project sponsors on study progress, statistical elements, and communicate changes in project scope.
  • Prepare, review, and contribute to statistical reports, ensuring consistency and completeness.
Requirements
  • MS/MA in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or related field, with a minimum of two years' relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SAS programming and database structures.
  • Proven leadership in managing multiple projects and/or team members.
