About the Job

At ASL Recruitment Ltd, we are looking for a skilled Automotive Upholsterer to join our team. This is a Temp–Perm position based in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, with a guaranteed 39 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within an upholstery position, quality checking experience, and the ability to use staple guns and furniture upholstery tools.

In return for your hard work, we can offer a competitive salary dependent on your experience and skills. You will also have access to regular breaks and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Become familiar with and maintain personal protective equipment
  • Use staple guns and tools correctly and efficiently
  • Ensure quality control by regularly inspecting work for defects
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Keep the working area clean and tidy at all times
  • Comply with safety regulations and guidelines
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Meet department targets through effective teamwork and effort
  • Report any issues or concerns to supervisors or trainers
  • Develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development
