The Dance Pointe is seeking a qualified Dance Instructor to teach children's ballet and modern classes. In this role, you will deliver engaging and structured dance lessons, promoting physical activity and creativity among students.

About the Role

This part-time position requires the ability to create and implement lesson plans, develop choreography, and provide constructive feedback to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach dance techniques to students aged 6-11
  • Develop and lead classes in ballet, tap, and modern dance styles
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute dance showcases
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in Dance Education or related field (desired)
  • 1+ year of experience teaching dance to children (desired)
  • Strong knowledge of ISTD syllabus and dance techniques
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
