Role Purpose

ArrowXL is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our finance team in Wigan. This role will offer great experience to join a highly qualified finance team with a continued focus on development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts to a strict deadline.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Produce and post journals.
  • Assist with maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Variance reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
  • Ad Hoc duties.
Person Specification

Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working within a multimillion-pound turnover business and be ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified or part qualified.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., SUMIF, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IndexMatch).
  • Strong eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Able to act in a professional manner to the benefit of the company and always maintain confidentiality.
