About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Activity Coordinator Lead. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering meaningful, person-centred activity and occupation to all our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead on and Deliver High-Quality Meaningful Activity: Develop and implement engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  2. Ensure Inclusive Engagement for Residents with Dementia: Create opportunities for residents with dementia to participate in activities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  3. Stimulate Excellent Interaction and Communication: Foster positive relationships between staff and residents, encouraging open communication and a sense of community.
  4. Promote and Develop Mealtimes as a Highlight: Enhance the dining experience for our residents, making mealtimes a enjoyable and social occasion.
  5. Establish and Maintain Excellent Community Links: Develop relationships with local community groups and organizations, providing opportunities for residents to engage with the wider community.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a positive forward-thinking approach, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to enthuse and guide others. Previous experience in care homes or activity coordination is an advantage, but not essential. We are looking for a flexible and assertive individual who can work effectively as part of a team.
