Join YHA Oxford Street as a Duty Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Duty Manager. As a key member of our hostel operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our hostel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of an operational budget and the delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Engage in various customer-facing duties across the hostel, ensuring all guests and visitors have an outstanding YHA experience
  • Guide and support team members working in all areas of the hostel, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Utilize our systems for efficient guest check-ins, check-outs, and other management functions
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our guests
  • Assist in the kitchen and serving food and drinks with warmth and hospitality, enhancing the dining experience
  • Deputise for the Hostel/Deputy Manager, managing the daily hostel operation in their absence
Requirements:
  • Flexibility to cover different shifts and tasks
  • Experience in managing varying pressures, including significant workload demands, and team management
  • Good communication skills and basic IT proficiency
  • Excellent time management
