Job Title: Transport Team Leader Nights

Job Summary:

Fresh Direct is seeking a highly organized and experienced Transport Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Transport Department. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the drivers and Transport Management team, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods to our customers across London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage drivers' rotas, including route planning and holiday cover
  • Ensure accurate agency control and legal/process checks
  • Deploy vehicles and drivers to meet business needs
  • Complete daily transport paperwork in line with company policy and procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the drivers and Transport Management team

Requirements:

  • Previous leadership experience in a transport or logistics environment
  • Knowledge of the Working Time Directive
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-pressured environment
  • Trustworthy nature and ability to build close relationships with other departments and customers
