- Respond to and convert incoming enquiries for raceday hospitality boxes and restaurants, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
- Manage existing accounts, growing their potential and identifying new opportunities for revenue growth.
- Proactively generate new leads to build and enhance our customer portfolio, driving sales growth and revenue.
- Prepare detailed and accurate proposals, contract documents, and invoices in a timely manner, ensuring seamless customer interactions.
- Ensure the booking system is updated in real-time, allowing for accurate sales forecasting and informed business decisions.
- On racedays, meet and greet, troubleshoot, and liaise with customers to deliver exceptional customer experiences, exceeding their expectations.
- Collaborate closely with the catering team to coordinate and deliver box and dining products, ensuring customers' expectations are consistently met.
- Organize sales visits, both internal and external, to drive sales growth and revenue.
- Previous experience in a sales environment, preferably with a mix of new business and proactive account management.
- Prior experience within the hospitality or sports industries would be advantageous.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, combined with a flair for customer interaction.
- Motivation and enthusiasm for the role and the Newbury Racecourse brand.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude.
