In a role that combines compassion with skilled support, we are seeking Temporary Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Chippenham. As a dedicated healthcare professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personalized care and support to patients, encompassing bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
* Offer assistance with mobility and physical activities, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
* Monitor and report on patient health and well-being, providing vital insights to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and infection control.
* Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and supportive team dynamic.
* Deliver emotional support and companionship to patients, acknowledging their unique needs and preferences.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a healthcare assistant role is desirable, although not essential for candidates with relevant training or qualifications.
* Possession of an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is highly valued.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and patients alike.
* A compassionate and patient-centered approach, underpinned by a deep respect for individual dignity and autonomy.
* Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, to meet the changing needs of our clients.
* Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this process if required).
