Job Summary:

CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Options Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing an effective casework service for all customers in housing need under the Homeless Reduction Act 2017.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer / stakeholder expectations in relation to what can be delivered.
  • Commit to high standards of customer care and deal sensitively with a wide range of customers.
  • Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Draft and write complex correspondence and reports.
  • Utilize high-level IT skills to work with a database and software applications to produce letters and reports effectively.
  • Understand the principles of homelessness prevention and knowledge of the full range of housing options available to residents.
  • Stay up-to-date with detailed knowledge of homelessness legislation guidance and caselaw, as well as the broader housing environment.
  • Work constructively with other services and agencies to negotiate successful outcomes for customers.
  • Maintain all required records and information, analyzing and interpreting complex information for input into Personal Housing Plans and management/member reports.
  • Adhere to procedures and correctly record and process all information.
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Manage escalated or complex customer issues within the specialist area.
  • Maintain information systems that support the specialist area and contribute to their development.
  • Be competent in the use of JIGSAW Northgate (NEC) and all related ICT systems.

Requirements:
