Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of School to join our team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of the College Management Group, you will play a vital role in leading and managing the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Professional Studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Professional Studies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and research.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive academic excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with the College Management Group to achieve College-wide goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to academic staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the effective operation of the school.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of academic leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
