Job Summary

The Counter Manager is a key role within Benefit Cosmetics UK, responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service in our retail stores. As a Counter Manager, you will lead a team of Brow and Beauty Advisors, motivating and delegating tasks to ensure sales targets are met and high customer service standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management - Lead and motivate a team of Brow and Beauty Advisors, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Sales Performance - Achieve counter and service sales targets by delegating tasks to team members, making connections with customers, demonstrating products, and providing beauty services.
  • Brow Services - Provide high-quality brow services, including waxing, tinting, and tweezing, to ensure customers are satisfied and book repeat appointments.
  • Teamwork and Communication - Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring effective communication and recognition of positive work.
  • Event Planning - Plan and execute in-store and external events, including new product releases and charity events, to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Stock Management - Ensure the counter remains stocked at all times, reporting any concerns to the Area Manager.
  • Administration - Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly administration tasks, and assist with Area Manager administration as needed.
  • Staff Rotas - Ensure staff rotas are completed fairly and on a monthly basis.
  • Hygiene and Housekeeping - Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring the counter and displays are kept tidy at all times.

  • Sales and Business Acumen - Strong sales and business acumen, with the ability to drive sales growth and meet targets.
  • Beauty and Cosmetics Knowledge - In-depth knowledge of beauty and cosmetics products, with the ability to provide expert advice and services.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills - Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
