Equipment Support Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Support Technologist to join our Acoustic Data team in Woking. As part of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and maintaining wireless telemetry tools and electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new-generation downhole tools, working closely with our Technology Team to drive innovation and progress within the industry
- Conduct thorough equipment assessments and maintenance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes to optimize performance and extend lifespan
- Manage equipment records, tracking performance and usage to inform strategic decisions and optimize deployment efficiency
- Develop and maintain documentation and materials to support our Operations Team and partner network, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, reducing production times and costs while maintaining quality standards
- Strong technical background (HND or relevant industry experience), with expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering
- 10 years of industrial experience in a technical environment, with a proven track record of delivering results under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and develop effective solutions
- Excellent written and communication skills, with excellent English language proficiency
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with experience in developing and maintaining complex spreadsheets and reports
- A competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
