Teaching Assistant Role at EDEX

We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill the position of Gifted Learning Assistant at EDEX. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.

Your primary responsibility will be to raise attainment and inspire pupils, showing them that anything is possible. You will work closely with school leaders who are committed to pushing the boundaries of student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

">

You will be responsible for mentoring students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and developing long-term ambitions to work within education. You will provide support and guidance to students inside and outside of the classroom, helping them to overcome any challenges they may face.

Benefits:

As a Gifted Learning Assistant, you can expect a competitive daily rate of £105-£120 per day, paid weekly. We offer a clear and structured progression plan, including Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.

You will also have access to salaried Teacher Training from September 2025, which includes QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) certification. Our school has a track record of promoting from within, so there are opportunities for career advancement.
