Protocol Education is seeking a qualified and experienced KS2 teacher to join our team.

Job Duties:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students, utilizing a range of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events and parent-teacher meetings, fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance, utilizing data to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field, with a strong foundation in teaching and learning principles.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 2, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of the national curriculum, with the ability to adapt teaching practices to meet the needs of students.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, with a focus on inclusive and equitable teaching practices.
  • Proficient in using educational technology in the classroom, with a willingness to explore new tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working in a diverse classroom environment, with a strong commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced school environment, with regular interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Full-time hours with occasional weekend or evening commitments, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
