Civil Enforcement Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Enforcement Officer to join our team at Unity Recruitment. As a key member of our parking enforcement team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with parking regulations in our designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) to vehicles parked in contravention of parking regulations
  • Record evidence and observations to monitor vehicles parking
  • Report any equipment in need of repair to ensure efficient service
  • Report other problems with signs, lines, or activity on the street
  • Report abandoned vehicles to management
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous enforcement experience of 6 months or more
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience working with computerized systems
Working Conditions:

This role requires working 37 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, on a rota'd basis. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Compensation:

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £17.15 umbrella per hour, with 1.5x pay on Saturdays and Sundays and 2x pay on bank holidays.
