The UK&I Service team delivers innovative maintenance and service solutions to a wide customer base across all industry segments for HVAC, Chillers, Refrigeration, Controls, and Mechanical & Electrical works.

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to work on site at one of our key facilities. Our team strives to provide our employees with an exceptional experience, focused on supporting their physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of PPM, service, and breakdown work on industrial refrigeration plant, large tonnage chillers, and AC VRV systems on site.

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be the primary contact for all technical service issues, responsible for troubleshooting and providing technical expertise on the servicing of complex HVAC systems.

Requirements

  • F-GAS 2079 card and Safe Handling of Refrigerants certificate.
  • Qualifications - NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or the City & Guilds equivalent.
  • Familiar and capable of delivering Service/Maintenance and repair of large tonnage chillers.
  • Experience working on industrial refrigeration systems and hermetic compressors, large tonnage chillers, a/c split, and VRV systems.
  • Time-served apprenticeship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with CO2 refrigerant.
  • Ammonia Handling, Hydrocarbon, and CO2 tickets desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
