Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Wednesbury. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes, including reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in finance, with experience in ERP systems and Excel. You will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts
- Treasury management, including cashflow forecasting and banking
- Implement annual budgets and monthly forecasts in our financial forecasting system
- Lead on third-party finance system development to improve processes within the finance department
- Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
Requirements:
- CIMA (or equivalent) qualified with 5 years' post-qualified experience
- Experience of product margin and inventory accounting
- Sound knowledge of ERP systems and Excel
