Job Overview

In this role as a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be working with a US-owned concrete and construction equipment business that is rapidly expanding its UK operations.

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist in Wednesbury. As a key member of our client's maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing all maintenance, repair, new build or refurbishment work on all makes and models of volumetric mixers as required.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Perform service and maintenance work on all makes and models of volumetric concrete mixers.
  2. Develop and maintain technical expertise in the service, repair, maintenance, and operation of volumetric mixers and their relevant systems.
  3. Assist in root cause analysis of failures to help improve the overall quality of the equipment.

Key Requirements:

This role requires previous experience as a fitter working with heavy equipment, preferably in a similar industry. Strong electrical fault finding skills and knowledge of hydraulics and welding are also essential.
