Job Overview:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team, providing expert technical support to our customers in the UK and globally. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and calibrating laboratory automation equipment to ensure it meets both our standards and customer expectations. This role requires a high level of mechanical and electrical engineering expertise, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the initial point of contact for addressing, diagnosing, and resolving customer issues, focusing on automation systems.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to optimize the performance of customer systems.
- Troubleshoot, update, and calibrate laboratory automation equipment and robotic systems with precision and expertise.
- Install, configure, and test devices and robotic systems to meet customer specifications, ensuring quality standards are achieved.

Requirements:
- Minimum HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Practical, hands-on experience in electrical, instrumentation, or automation roles may be considered as an alternative to formal qualifications.
- At least 5 years of experience in a field service or customer-focused technical role.
- Expertise in maintaining and servicing devices and instrumentation, with a focus on electrical or mechanical systems.
- Experience in operating and maintaining automation systems (preferred).
