Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at a children's residential provider in Newark on Trent. The successful candidate will work with a team to provide a safe and supportive environment for children and young people with Emotional Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people with challenging behaviors and trauma
- Work with a therapeutic model such as P.A.C.E
- Provide a child-focused approach, ensuring consistency and continuity
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Level 3 or above in Children and Young People's Workforce or willingness to work towards this
- Experience working with children and young people with EBD and SEMH needs
- 'Can-do' attitude and flexibility with shifts
- Age 22 or over
