**Children’s Residential Support Worker - Newark
- £11 - £14 per hour PAYE**

This is an incredible opportunity to work in a residential setting, offering care and guidance to children who require additional support.

We are looking for people to join on a temporary to permanent or permanent basis.

The hours could be waking nights, weekends or regular days.

**As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will be**:

- **Emotional Support**: As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will provide emotional support and encouragement to children and young people in your care. You will build strong relationships, gaining their trust and fostering a sense of security and belonging.
- **Daily Care and Routine**: Your role will involve assisting with the daily care and routine of the children, including meal preparation, hygiene support, and ensuring a clean and safe living environment. You will help children develop essential life skills and promote independence.
- **Behavioural Management**: You will use effective behavioural management techniques to encourage positive behaviour and provide guidance when challenging situations arise. Your calm and patient approach will help children learn appropriate coping strategies.
- **Planning and Activities**: You will organize and participate in engaging activities and outings that promote the social and emotional development of the children. Creating a stimulating and enjoyable environment is essential to their growth and well-being.
- **Record Keeping**: Accurate and detailed record keeping is crucial in this role. You will maintain records of daily activities, progress, and any incidents that occur, ensuring that all relevant information is documented and shared with the appropriate parties.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years experience working with Children
- Must have experience in handling behavioural issues, Mental Health and Disability
- NVQ Level 3 Childrens
- Driver is preferred but not essential
- 5 years of satisfactory references
