Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen with a business looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase ledger processing and account reconciliation
  • Process weekly payroll for employees
  • Manage a high volume of data on a weekly basis
  • Assist with month and year end accounting
  • Processing simple accounts journals for regular non-ledger transactions and other basic bookkeeping tasks

Requirements:

  • Highly organized with great administrative and clerical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in computer programs, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Ability to use basic accounting software (experience with Sage Payroll and Microsoft AX desirable but not essential, full training will be given)
