Job SummaryThe Clinical Instructor will be responsible for implementing the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement clinical experiences for nursing students
- Provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care
- Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on their level of performance
- Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student's knowledge base and skill competency
- Grade homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, and clinical paperwork in a timely manner
- May teach didactic course content under supervision of course coordinator
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Alabama
- At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
- Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required
We offer a competitive compensation rate of $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the candidate's education and experience. Our Talent Acquisition Team will be happy to answer any questions you may have, and we look forward to learning more about your salary requirements.
