Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team in Oldham. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting child and family assessments, formulating plans, and providing early interventions to support children and families at a Child in Need level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct child and family assessments, formulate plans, and provide early interventions to support children and families at a Child in Need level.
* Lead longer-term interventions, particularly in Child Protection and Children Looked After cases.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in care, handle placement issues, and focus on long-term care plans.
* Manage cases from assessment to court proceedings, working closely with children with disabilities and their families, including transition to adult services.
