Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at the The Francis Crick Institute. This exciting opportunity will enable you to work on a range of mathematical and computational modelling projects, contributing to our understanding of cancer dynamics.

About the Role
This fixed-term (4 years) position offers a competitive salary of £42,667 - £49,149 per annum, depending on experience. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team, consisting of biologists, clinicians, experimentalists, bioinformaticians, and data scientists. Your primary focus will be on developing data-informed computational models to investigate imaging-derived spatial immunophenotypes of patient samples and predict the effect of immunotherapy for renal cancer.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement novel mathematical and computational models to study spatial immune microenvironments and response to immunotherapy
* Manage collaboration with other group members and collaborators working on spatial biology and multimodal data integration
* Present research findings at internal lab meetings, consortium meetings, and relevant events

Requirements
* PhD in Math, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent experience
* Strong programming skills in Python, C++, Matlab, or similar languages
* Experience in data science projects, including analysis of spatial proteomics and transcriptomics data
* Familiarity with GitHub and High-Performance Computing
