Lead Our Culinary Team as a Catering Supervisor

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee our catering and service operations for Defence. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our kitchens and service counters run smoothly, delivering exceptional food experiences for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare delicious food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
  • Culinary Team Supervision: Supervise our culinary and catering teams, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets, ensuring we're on track to meet our objectives.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image, promoting our values and mission.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams, ensuring we exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding service.
  • Training and Development: Support and train our teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel in their roles and gain new skills.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and review Health & Safety standards, ensuring compliance across all catering and service teams.
Requirements:
  • Culinary Experience: A minimum of two years of catering experience, with a passion for delivering exceptional food and customer service.
  • Team Management: Experience managing teams in a similar role, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Certification: A Basic Food Hygiene certificate, ensuring you're up-to-date with the latest health and safety standards.
  • Communication and Organisation: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivation and Ambition: An ambitious and motivated individual, always looking to upskill and take on new challenges.
