As a key member of our business development and sales team, you will play a critical role in supporting and participating in sales meetings with customers, coordinating and participating in Sales Approval meetings, and providing comprehensive handover to the project delivery team after project award.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining, developing, and improving tools (Salesforce) to support sales efforts and improve sales team efficiency.
  • Supporting our Bid Managers on large value strategically important and complex bids.
  • Unpicking ITT's, defining response requirements, and developing bid submission plans to ensure submissions are fully compliant with the tender requirements.
  • Facilitating and supporting bid decisions, ensuring win themes are communicated clearly to create impactful well-structured and compelling proposals.
  • Preparing and managing the bid team schedule, including organizing and facilitating progress review meetings.
  • Collaborating and working closely with members of our wider technical project teams.
  • Carrying out debriefings with clients and internal response teams to learn lessons and implement improvements.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of a repository for templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other resources.
  • Maintaining a library of proposal collateral to ensure its accuracy, taking corrective action where appropriate.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 2 years of work experience in sales or bid management roles in the energy or similarly complex industry.
  • Proven experience in bid management for projects in an international environment.
  • Proven experience in the energy storage industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in (electrical) engineering, renewables, or another relevant discipline.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiations, and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to work collaboratively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Track record of taking ownership over responsibilities and pursuing them diligently.
  • Ability to understand and synthesize complex technical and product information.
  • Incredible attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and RFPIO preferred.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Other European languages are a plus.
